Havenstar 3.36 Release Summary - Apr 2026

Version 3.36 is a Mainline release - you will only receive the major changes in this version if you request an additional upgrade outside of the normal LTS cycle. Otherwise, these will be available in the next designated LTS release.

Improvements and Fixes

Boat & Berth Management

1. When moving boats between berths, users are prompted to auto-assign service points of the new berth, streamlining the process.
   
2. Fixed issue with Boat Arrival process and the Visitor Arrival Acknowledgement document printing, avoiding process interruption and duplicate berth assignments.
   
3. Default boat record dimensions set to 1 (length, beam, draft) instead of 0 when creating a new "boat-less" account.

CRM

1. Fixed issue applying correct default marketing preferences for new customers.

Boatyard Manager

1. Bookings from Works Orders for storage ashore no longer allocate free visitor days.
2. Prevented service charge recalculation on Works Orders that have already been invoiced when rescheduling jobs, avoiding unexpected cost changes.

Meter-MACS Integration

1. Implemented configurable alarm email suppression window for Meter-MACS Gen2 to reduce repeated notifications.
2. Added tracking of serial number changes in Meter-MACS Gen2 meters to reset readings and recalculate balances correctly.
3. Validated email addresses before queuing Meter-MACS Gen2 alarm emails to avoid queuing emails with empty recipients.
   
4. “Transfer Balance to Gen1” button hidden when Meter-MACS Gen1 is disabled to prevent incorrect balance changes.

Postcode Lookup

1. Postcode lookup now consistently replaces entered postcode with validated, formatted value across all relevant screens.

Reporting

1. The List Boats Report now includes the boat's Make and Model.

System Performance

1. Improved database performance opening the Customer Account (F5) screen.
   
2. Improved database performance when crediting mooring transactions.
   
3. Improved database performance when raising invoices.

Utilities

1. Service point colors on graphics can now be customized via Settings > Service Management.
2. Service points on graphics now have colored outlines indicating their utility system, customizable in settings.
   

Visitor Bookings Manager

1. Bookings from Works Orders for storage ashore no longer allocate free visitor days.
2. Fixed error message "User setting with id 108 not found" on first launch of Reports tab in Visitor Bookings Manager.
   

Other Miscellaneous

1. Fixed database permissions issue causing occasional user errors.
