Fuel Manager - Cost of Supply

Fuel Manager - Cost of Supply

Quick Intro

The cost of supply represents a set figure which is factored into the price calculation. It represents the ongoing cost of infrastructure and personnel costs to operate fuel storage and delivery systems. Fuel Manager lets you update and track this value over time, and automatically pulls it into the final price calculation process when you update your retail fuel prices.

Where To Find It

Open the Fuel Manager from your Nav Bar (this will be in the Marina Administration section). Then, navigate to the Price Management tab at the top, and within that, the Cost of Supply tab on the left-hand side.

Example:

Updating the Cost of Supply

  1. Navigate to the Cost of Supply screen.
  2. Check your selected fuel type at the top of the screen, and change it if necessary.
  3. If you are part of a marina group, using Havenstar's Enterprise environment, you can select the relevant marina.
    1. Alternatively, you can select All Marinas, to apply the same value to all marinas in one go.
  4. Review the Current Cost, and then enter the New Cost.
  5. Set the effective from date (changes can be forward-dated if you need).
  6. Confirm the new value is committed in the History grid at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Change the selected fuel type and repeat. You need to do this, even if the cost will be the same for all fuel types.
