Havenstar & DocuSign - Dispatching an Individual Contract to DocuSign

Quick Intro

The Havenstar DocuSign module can be used to dispatch and manage contracts via DocuSign in bulk, or on an individual basis. This article explains how to do this for individual contracts.

Where To Find It

Pick any relevant customer and go to their Renewal Contract, which is in the Contracts section in the Nav Bar. If they don't have a future/renewal contract yet, create a new one when prompted.

Only Future/Renewal contracts can be sent via DocuSign.

Dispatching the Contract

Once you are happy that all the contract details are correct, simply click the orange pen button on the Renewal Contract screen. This will dispatch the contract via DocuSign, and then open the DocuSign Status screen, where you can monitor the progress of the contract through DocuSign.

The customer will receive an email from DocuSign, with a link to a copy of the contract, requesting them to sign it, along with custom message, as per your Havenstar settings.

Notes & Tips

  1. Refer to the related articles for more information about monitoring and managing a contract that has already been dispatched.
  2. In order to use this feature, the customer(s) in question will need to have an email on file, and their Contract contact preference set to "email" in the Contact Manager.
