Havenstar Boatyard Manager - Feature List

Quick Intro

The Havenstar Boatyard Manager module is an optional add-on to Havenstar that drives efficiencies in your boatyard, services, and storage operations.

Features

Works Orders

Everything in the Boatyard Manager is driven by Works Orders, sometimes known as service orders, or job requests. These are requests for services such as lifts and launches, painting, engine servicing, anything you might provide in your marina or boatyard. A fee for storage or a hardstanding stay may also be included (if the customer has free storage nights on their account, these can be consumed in lieu of a fee).

The Works Order order goes through a lifecycle from being drafted and delivered to the customer, to acceptance, to scheduling, and then to billing.

Diary and Resource Allocation

Jobs from Works Orders can be scheduled. This is particularly important for jobs requiring plant and other machinery. Using the Boatyard Manager diary, you can schedule jobs to maximise efficiency and utilisation of available equipment, working around recurring blocks like lunch breaks.

Job List

The Boatyard Manager provides a daily job list, that can be printed for your boatyard team to work from.

Cradle Usage

The Boatyard Manager allows you to set-up, allocate, and track cradles for hardstanding storage. When in use, these also display on the Havenstar graphical overview.

Berth Availability

The Boatyard Manager screen also provides a quick link to the Berth Availability screen, letting you see how much space you have at any given time.

Reports

The Boatyard Manager provides a suite of standard reports, such as Works Order reports, and cradle usage.
